Girls Just Wanna Have Fun @Sportsmans Tavern

A Tribute to Women in Music! Some of WNY’s finest musicians and performers doing 25 songs from a wide range of women songwriters and singers, presented by the Buffalo Music Coalition. An all-star Buffalo group of women are the core band, including Grace Lougen on guitar, Danusia Beatz on drums, Dara Gallagher on bass and Alex McArthur on keyboards. Singers are Alex and Grace and Donna Kerr Delane, Amanda Markovich, Joelle Labert, Blaise Mercedes, Kate Starr and Jerry Hall. 25 different artists are represented, Lucinda Williams to Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, Bobbie Gentry, Nancy Sinatra, Chaka Khan, Susan Tedeschi, The Pretenders, Stevie Nicks, and many more. The show is the legendary Sportsmen’s Tavern, the venue with the finest sound in Buffalo. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Network of WNY.
